Located facing a Parisian cultural spot, the new warehouses and their offices have to respond to a dual problem: to achieve urban integration between a 6 660 m² industrial building in the middle of Paris, in 2013, while guaranteeing it good function. The project is conceived as an artificial landscape consisting of a large folded layer (aluminum roof and uprights) forming a succession of sheds in different directions. This offers the same light across the sorting areas and allows an effective acoustic treatment. On the street side, the linearity of the 450 m façade is reflective (metallic mirrors) that reflects the street (trees, buildings). From inside the site, the pattern of the roof is regulated by its direction, which descends as a façade, multiplying the acceleration/deceleration and offering a kinetic visual effect.
